The DC Chapter of SFA, in partnership with the National Spacepower Center (NSpC) and AE Industrial Partners, presents our latest "Spacepower Series" --Strategic Launch: Spacepower, Deterrence, and the Economy. This half‑day forum will bring together senior leaders from the U.S. Space Force, NRO, NASA, the Department of Commerce, and the commercial launch industry to examine the evolving launch enterprise underpinning national spacepower. Through keynotes, fireside chats, and panels, participants will explore the strategic, operational, and economic dimensions of the National Security Space Launch (NSSL) program. Discussions will focus on strengthening cross‑sector collaboration, advancing launch resiliency, and ensuring assured access to space in an increasingly contested domain. This event will provide a strategic venue for aligning defense, civil, and commercial launch efforts that drive America’s space advantage

328 WPS 30th Anniversary Social & Golf Tournament

The Space Force Association in collaboration with the 328 WPS is proud to host the 30th Anniversary Social and Golf Tournament, celebrating three decades of excellence within the Space Weapons School community. This event is an opportunity to reconnect with fellow graduates while helping fund a world‑class anniversary celebration and offset participation costs for our active‑duty Guardians.

Eligibility: Attendance is limited to Space Weapons School graduates only.

Anniversary Social

Date: June 10
Time: 1800–2100

Join us for an evening of camaraderie and reflection as we celebrate 30 years of the 328 WPS. Venue details will be announced once finalized.

Golf Tournament

Date: June 11
Location: Nellis Golf Course
Start Time: 0800 shotgun start

Spend the morning on the course with fellow WPS graduates at Nellis Golf Course, continuing the anniversary celebration in a relaxed and competitive setting. 9 hole shotgun start. Limited to 36 golfers.

The Northeast Space Defense & Innovation Summit (NESDIS): Evolving Space Services for Resilient Operations

NESDIS 2026 convenes leaders from government, military, industry, academia, and venture capital to accelerate the future of national security space from the Northeast.

Building on the momentum of last year’s inaugural summit, which brought together a cross-sector community to inform, connect, and ignite the region, NESDIS 2026 is designed as a mission-driven collider summit.

Summit Objectives

Mission Orientation – Ground innovation in real operational challenges facing the U.S. Space Force and joint force

Tech Transition – Bridge the gap from research and startup innovation to deployed, mission-critical capability

Trusted Networks – Build enduring relationships across government, academia, industry, and investors to accelerate collaboration

The Northeast has world-class research institutions, emerging space startups, and increasing policy momentum, but remains under-integrated as a cohesive space ecosystem. NESDIS serves as a catalyst to unify this region, connecting innovation supply with national security demand.
